What information do we collect/track?
As part of the services offered by Panoptic Security, we may collect names and email address information of users of the system. We also collect a range of information required to assist in the completion of Payment Card Industry Self Assessment Questionnaires.
You make the decision whether to proceed with any activity that requests such personal and/or sensitive information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, that is your choice. However, you will not be able to complete the transaction or receive the requested service.
How do we use the information we collect/track?
Our primary use of this information is to provide you with an account to allow you to use the Panoptic Security Assessment, and provide services based on the information provided. Some of the ways the personally identifiable information may also be used includes:

Panoptic Security may send you communication, including informative emails/newsletters about product upgrades, product updates, new products, special offers, and services. This communication is to provide you special offers that may be of interest to you, and may include paid advertisements from third parties. Panoptic Security may use third-party provider(s) of outbound email technology to send email from their servers on our behalf.

Panoptic Security produces research reports and other information and data about PCI compliance and validation for participating organizations and other customers, as well as media and other interested parties. Panoptic Security maintains log files of the traffic that visits our website, we may track domain names, IP addresses and browser types from visitors to our site. We use this information to track aggregate traffic patterns throughout the Panoptic Security website. Such information is not correlated with any personal information. We do not link any information gathered in these log files to personally identifying information. Log files are used to manage traffic loads and information technology requirements for providing reliable service.

At the Panoptic Security web site, there are links to companies with whom we have a relationship. Panoptic Security is not responsible for the privacy practices of our business partners. You are encouraged to read their privacy statements as their policies may differ from our policies.
